And Some Waffle Fries!

Last time I spoke about Uni I mentioned the magnificent world of LMS and how you can conduct all of your lectures on the internet. This week we started having our tutorials ("tutes"), and these you MUST attend in order to pass your subjects because they aren't available on LMS. But then, after attending my tutes this week, I'm thinking, why would you ever want to skip them? My tutes are great! The lectures are alright, but I'm absolutely loving my tutes. My tute in philosophy is like a round-table discussion about Plato and Socrates and life, and my psychology tute (which I just returned from) is a cool group of students with a variety of interests-- not just in psychology-- and we all get to do labs together and experiments simulated on the computer. I really liked it! Our tutor is cool too. She's a post-graduate student earning her PhD in clinical psychology who does tutes as a part of her program.

Also, the psychology tute is in (I believe) the tallest building on campus, if I'm not mistaken. The class is on the tenth floor, but I didn't know, so I just kept walking up the stairs until I found the right level. TEN FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. I nearly had a heart attack! Although, in this process, I discovered that the thirteenth floor leads onto the roof. So after the tute another student, who was also roof-curious, and I went up to try and see the view from there, but it's locked, with a sign that says Authorised Personnel Only. How unfortunate. It would've been like being up in the Eureka tower again, only fo free.

Tonight at Ormond is the play they put on by the drama club! And it's Gala Night, which means there's an after party... and I've got tickets! Hill yis!
